主题: Building Risk Scores for Evaluating Survival after Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation Using Pre-Tran主讲人: Lue Ping Zhao地点: 松江校区一号学院楼140报告厅时间: 2018-10-23 13:00:00组织单位: 计算机学院 主讲人简介: Dr. Lue Ping Zhao has received his trainingfrom Biostatistics, Computer Science, and Public Health Sciences, and has engagedhimself in basic and clinical researches with high dimensional data, the fieldof which now is often referred to as a Data Science .Currently, he devoted mostof his energy to Big Data researches, encompassing large omics data fromclinical translational researches as well as rich clinical and health data fromElectronic Medical Records and Administrative Databases of Population Health. 讲座摘要: Cytogenetic aberrations (CA) have beenroutinely used for risk-stratification of patients for allogeneic hematopoieticcell transplantation (HCT) and are known to be associated with overall survival(OS).Existing risk-stratification toolstypically use specific CA.Here weintroduce an application of object-oriented regression technique (OOR) toassess the prognostic impact of global CA on OS, i.e., a holistic association,as opposed to conventional reductionist approach.The goal is to build a prediction model (PM)and risk score (RS) for OS, after HCT.We utilized pre-HCT cytogenetic andrelevant clinical data from 1,122 AML patients who received HCT from year 2004to 2017 at Fred Hutch.Among them, 231AML patients have at least one cytogenetic aberrations.We used 50% samples for training to constructPM/RS, and remaining samples to validate PM/RS. Using novel OOR, we designedand validated a cytogenetic-based new RS for OS after HCT. 语言:英文 |
